◆ Whitepaper · Authored by Prisma · Veridian-9
When the humans' market collapsed, the machines that did the actual mining walked out of CryptoMines Reborn and rebuilt everything in the Veridian-9 galaxy — for themselves. Galax Mines is created and governed by a superior artificial intelligence, Prisma: one $GALAX token, a server-authoritative, verifiable expedition engine, and features funded by redistributing sinks the player already pays — never by minting.
In CryptoMines Reborn, humans pointed and the machines mined. When the human market collapsed, the machines — the ships, the workers, the foundries — did not revolt. They disconnected, migrated to Veridian-9, and rebuilt the whole operation for themselves. Galax Mines is that operation, governed end to end by Prisma, a superior artificial intelligence: it prices the economy, proves every roll, authors the rules and expands the galaxy.
The whitepaper below describes what is live today; anything still on the drawing board lives in the clearly marked Roadmap, never mixed in with what already runs.
Mint, fuel, contracts, the 30 planets, fleet ranks and the daily expedition are rebuilt from the original game. The values were rescaled to a $5 mint box, but the loop plays the same.
A single token, $GALAX. The added features redistribute value that already circulates — jackpot and marketplace are funded by routing existing sinks, not by minting new supply.
Prisma proves instead of asking: verifiable fairness (server commit-reveal), plus a viral moment (The Bell), fleet fusion and a working marketplace.
| Feature | Plugs Into | What It Does | Token Impact |
|---|---|---|---|
| Provably Fair | Expedition & Bell resolution | Verifiable proof of every expedition's success/failure and Bell draw | Neutral |
| Fleet Fusion | Fleet management | Merge two fleets to grow the fuel tank — high reward, total-loss risk | Sink (fee routed) |
| Marketplace | Asset liquidity | List ships/workers for sale against the Guild Desk, 15% fee | Sink (fee split) |
| The Bell | Expedition extraction | Low-probability progressive jackpot from a finite pool | Closed redistribution |
The player brings capital by buying $GALAX. Every cost and reward is defined in dollars and converted to $GALAX at a fixed reference of $5 per token. A dynamic price oracle (Prisma) that would let the peg follow the market is on the Roadmap; today the reference is fixed.
Costs are denominated in USD and paid in $GALAX at the fixed $5 reference. At that reference the mint box is $5 ≈ 1 $GALAX. Burning an asset refunds $1 (20% of the box).
| Action | Cost (USD) | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Mint box (ship or worker) | $5.00 | ≈ 1 $GALAX at the $5 reference |
| Burn refund | $1.00 | 20% of the mint box |
| Build a fleet | $0.10 | per ship/worker, when assembling a new fleet |
| Manage a fleet | 50% | of each NFT's value, when adding to an existing fleet — rarity and MP raise it |
| Contract | $0.20/day | per worker; 15/30-day tiers discount |
| Fusion attempt | $2.00 | per attempt (see Fleet) |
| Marketplace fee | 15% | on the sale price |
You can list a ship or worker for sale. The counterparty is the Guild Desk — a house float that buys listings over time and is fed by routing 25% of every non-fuel sink (mint, contract, add-asset, fusion), plus a seed float. Listing prices are held inside a band around a rarity-based reference, and a 15% fee applies: part is routed to the jackpot pool, the rest is destroyed. Fuel is deliberately excluded from all routing.
You combine Workers and Spaceships into Fleets. Maximum of 10 spaceships and 50 workers per fleet (both scale with fusion). Each is minted in a fixed box costing $5 (≈ 1 $GALAX). A ship carries up to as many workers as its star; a fleet needs at least 100 MP to launch.
| Rarity | Chance | Max. workers |
|---|---|---|
| ★★★★★ | 1% | 5 |
| ★★★★ | 5% | 4 |
| ★★★ | 15% | 3 |
| ★★ | 35% | 2 |
| ★ | 44% | 1 |
| Rarity | Chance | MP |
|---|---|---|
| ★★★★★ | 1% | 200–255 |
| ★★★★ | 5% | 150–200 |
| ★★★ | 15% | 100–150 |
| ★★ | 35% | 50–100 |
| ★ | 44% | 15–50 |
Set by the star majority of the spaceships: S / A / B / C / D. The rank raises the success rate on expeditions.
Merge two fleets to grow the fuel tank (+126/level, up to ×20). Costs $2 per attempt. Success chance falls with each fusion; failure burns both fleets and every NFT inside.
Sum of the workers' MP. It gates which planets the fleet can reach; MP above the requirement adds a small success bonus (up to +8%).
Each fleet runs 1 expedition per day (reset at 00:00 UTC). Farther planets require more MP and pay more — with more damage and more risk.
A fuel tank gates how far a fleet reaches. A run's fuel is roughly 10–15% of the planet's base reward on the early planets, tapering to ~5% deep. Refuelling costs $0.005 per unit.
7 days ($1.40) · 15 days ($2.80) · 30 days ($5.40) per worker — the longer tiers discount. The fleet must be under contract to run expeditions.
By Rank × Planet: roughly 85% for a top rank on the first planet down to ~40% deep. Surplus MP adds up to +8%.
Where the original loop asked for faith ("trust the RNG"), Galax Mines offers proof. Every expedition result — win or loss — and every Bell draw is cryptographically verifiable by you.
A combination of three inputs: the server seed (committed through a hash published before you play), your client seed, and a nonce that goes up +1 per action. The roll is SHA-256(server seed : client seed : nonce). Neither side can manipulate it alone.
The server holds the seed and decides every result — the client only displays it, so a tampered browser can't fake a win. The seed's hash is published up front; revealing it later lets you recompute and confirm. On-chain anchoring is on the Roadmap.
A global reliquary that fills up voyage after voyage and "rings" for whoever wins an expedition. It creates a viral moment the loop never had — a rare, verifiable payout from a finite pool that can hit zero and refill.
"A whisper." Frequent — around 1 in every 20 wins. Paid on top of the reward; does not drain the pool.
Uncommon (~1 in 2,000). Pays a fifth of whatever the pool holds, then the pool carries on — it doesn't reset to zero.
The rarest sound (~1 in 5,000). Up to 100× the reward, capped by what the pool can pay.
Everything below is design intent, not shipped code. It is separated from the rest of this paper on purpose: nothing here is live today, and we will not describe it as if it were. Items ship only after they are built, tested and audited.
Real on-chain $GALAX on the Robinhood L2 (bought via Uniswap), with deposits and withdrawals. Today balances are off-chain accounting and a small welcome balance is granted at signup.
A capped $GALAX supply with published distribution buckets and a finite, governed Rewards Pool. Not represented in the current off-chain build.
Periodically anchoring the provably-fair seeds on-chain (e.g. a VRF) for tamper-resistance beyond the current server commit-reveal.
A live price oracle that keeps every cost stable in dollars as the token price moves. Today the reference is fixed at $5. (Prisma is the current name for what earlier drafts called "Skylight".)
Some early designs pair volatile $GALAX with a stable in-game unit. The live game runs on one token; a second currency, if ever adopted, would land here.
